Property Pensions mission statement

Property Pensions is the brainchild of Patrick O’Brien who has been disappointed by the pensions and banking industry in Ireland when it comes to their pension investments and feel he could do a much better job of making your money grow. Most pensions are invested in shares where a management fee of anything up to 3% is charged, regardless of results, to manage a portfolio. The same results could be achieved by tracking the various shares indices at practically no cost. Mr O’Brien has a belief that property is the best investment when it comes to investing your pension money. He believes in specific boutique type properties where a smaller group of investors is involved and where each investor has a defined investment stake in the portfolio. He feels there should be minimal management and maintenance fees. There should be no separate management company to charge the maximum fee that the market will take and an investor can sell his share on the open market after a defined period of time. Also there should be a feeling of belonging to the club.
